Artist Tony Wade was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1962.
He attended Shakespeare Elementary & Hyde Park Career Academy where he first developed a strong interest in Art as a career under the excellent instruction of Artist Shirley Sullivan. Upon Graduation he attended the American Academy of Art Chicago where he received a strong Academic foundation in the Visual Arts.
While in Art school he was recruited by the well known Illustration and Graphic Design Studio Godbold & Reichter in Kansas City Mo. There he worked on many Marketing and Advertising campaigns, most notably for Anheuser Busch and the Miller Brewing Co. After three years he moved to St Louis, Mo. where he worked for the Maritz Motivation Co. as an Illustrator and Graphic Designer. Upon leaving he began working as a Freelance Artist which he continues to do today.
