Historically Black Southern University at New Orleans has signed an agreement with Central University College of Ghana. Under the agreement, the two educational institutions will engage in exchanges of students and faculty, cooperate on research projects, and participate in joint lecture and seminar projects. The two universities will also exchange published academic materials.
Victor Ukpolo, chancellor of Southern University at New Orleans, stated, “It has been one of our goals to broaden the international profile of the university. There is a substantial benefit to our students and to our faculty to work jointly with Central University College.”
