Marvin Stinnett Named LeMoyne Owen Hercules Scholar

Marvin Stinnett, a sophomore computer science/mathematics major with a minor in information technology, is this week’s Tom Joyner Foundation Hercules Scholar.

Stinnett, from Memphis, Tenn., plans to own a software design and programming business and plans to develop methods and processes to make technology easy of everyone.

At LeMoyne-Owen, Stinnett is president of the Man-Up Program, serves a peer tutor, provides mentoring for young men ages 11 to 13 at a local  community center, and is currently interning in the IT Department at Lemoyne-Owen.
