June 30 is much more than the day before July 1.
June 30 marks the end of the fiscal year for all of our schools
This means that all schools are working overtime to cross the finish line in the green financially.
When schools go to potential funders and ask for support, one of the questions they ask is, what percentage of your alumni give? They want to know that the investment they are going to make in the school already has a solid foundation from the people who have benefited the most from the school…you, alumni. Also, schools are reviewed by the Southern Association of College and School Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) not just to ensure a school’s academic programs are in compliance, but to also access how stable one is financially.
