DeAnte’ Spann is a junior, elementary education major, reading and technology minor from Morton, Mississippi.
This future education administrator plans to focus on instructional technology and later become a college professor.
At Alcorn, DeAnte’ serves as the Director of Communications for the Residence Hall Association, is a member of the Ronald McNair Scholar Program, the Alcorn Chapter of NAACP, and the ASU Honor Society.
DeAnte’ lives by “the golden rule” as his motto for life and has done extensive research on African American Male Teachers in Rural School Settings.
