Eric,a junior at the Xavier University of Louisiana was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.
Mr. Craig is originally from Los Angeles, California and he currently holds a 3.85 GPA and is majoring in Political Science at the Xavier University of Louisiana. After earning his degree at XULA , he plans to attend graduate school to further my knowledge within political science. At Xavier University he has worked for the school newspaper “Xavier Herald” for 3 years. Also, he serves as the Vice President of the Public Policy Club and he is a member of Pi Gamma Mu. Eric holds several other community positions back home in L.A. as well.
Eric was recently named the Top 5 Journalist and Top 3 in Feature Writing at the South East Journalism Conference for colleges and universities.
The most influential person in Eric’s life is his mother. He mentions that his mother is the sole reason he is in colleges and works hard for Xavier University. She taught him service, hard work and to value others.
