Where Are They Now: 2016 Hercules Scholar, Gregory Foster of Bowie State University

Gregory Foster was a May 2016 Hercules Scholarship recipient from Bowie State University. He recently wrote the following letter, showing his appreciation for his award and sharing what’s next on his path.

Dear Tom Joyner Foundation,

Thank you for your support and financial assistance during my academic journey at Bowie State University. I am grateful for being named Hercules Scholar for the Spring of 2016. I graduated from Bowie State on May 23, 2017 Magna Cum Laude. I will be attending John Hopkins University in the fall of 2017 for my Master’s degree. My major will be in Museum Studies with a certificate in Digital Curation from JHU’s online program at the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Advance Academic Program. I am also searching for employment in history and historical preservation. Again thank you for your financial support.

Gregory I. Foster
