SAVANNAH — Tailgate, RV and vendor spaces for the Savannah State University (SSU) 2013 homecoming game, Saturday, October 26, are available for purchase at the Cashier’s Office located on the first floor of Hill Hall on the SSU campus. Spaces will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
Space fees for the Oct. 26 homecoming game are:
Tailgate – $125 per space
RV – $200 per space (add $100 for arrivals on Oct. 24)
Non-Food Vendor – $400 per space
Food Vendor – $500 per space
The application is available on the web: www.savannahstate.edu/homecoming. Look for the “Downloads & Applications” heading and click on the application. In addition to cash, payment options include money order or cashier check made payable to Savannah State University Athletics. Oct. 18 is the application deadline to reserve spaces for the homecoming game. For more information about space reservations, call (912) 358-3117.

Savannah State’s homecoming opponent is North Carolina Central University. The game will begin at 2 p.m. at T.A. Wright Stadium, located on campus, following the annual parade through downtown Savannah. The theme for the week-long homecoming observance is “Our Legacy, Your Future.”
Established in 1890, Savannah State University is the oldest public historically black college or university in Georgia and the oldest institution of higher learning in the city of Savannah. The university’s 4,600 students select majors from 26 undergraduate and five graduate programs in three colleges — Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, Business Administration and Sciences and Technology — and soon the School of Teacher Education.
