Romin Geiger from Tennessee State Receives $1,500 Hercules Scholarship

Major/ Class: Psychology   / Junior

Romin, a Junior at the Tennessee State University was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.

Mr. Geiger is originally from Sacramento, CA and  currently holds a 3.8 GPA at Tennessee State University.   After earning his  Bachelors degree he plans  to achieve his goal to he plans to go on to graduate school at Vanderbilt University to receive his Doctorate degree in Cognitive Psychology.

On the campus of TSU is a member of the Aristocrat of Bands at Tennessee State University. He is also the Junior Class Representative for the Tennessee State University Honors College and  a member of the Associations of Black Psychologists.

Some of the most influential people in his life are his parents  Martinez Geiger and Christy Wade.  “They are my rock and my biggest supporters and the people that keep me motivated” says Geiger.

Motto:  I will be comfortable with being uncomfortable so if I die tomorrow I can be satisfied with the little that I left undone.
