The Montgomery Chapter, of Alabama State University National Alumni Association, donated $2,500 to the university’s school of the month campaign. Graduate member, Tislam Ellis (’98), represented the chapter and discussed what is unique to Alabama State as well as a call to action for all alumni to show their support. The donation will provide scholarships to students from Montgomery, Ala.
Alabama State was the Tom Joyner Foundation October 2014 school of the month. You can still make a donation to support the university here. 100% of your donation will go to support scholars at Alabama State.
