Congratulations to Aaron Batiste, a senior Educational Studies major at Harris-Stowe State University. After graduation, Aaron plans to receive his master’s degree in College Student Personnel Administration. In the short-term, Aaron plans to become a Dean of Students Success in Missouri. He ultimately aspires to become president of a historically black college or university.

Aaron is involved in several campus organizations at Harris-Stowe, including White House Student Ambassador, SGA Vice President, Mr. Harris-Stowe State University, Residential Assistant, member of the Honda Campus All-Star Challenge and Verizon Black College Quiz.

Aaron says he is most influenced by God, his parents, Dr. Warmack, president of Harris-Stowe State University, Dr. Shawn Baker and Project Success Program and staff at El Camino College in Torrance, California.

He lives by the motto: If you want to touch the past, touch a rock. If you want to touch the present, touch a flower, but if you want to touch the future, touch a life.
