Let’s congratulate Hercules Scholarship winner, Christopher Sudler, a sophomore from Cambridge, Maryland. The future architect or real estate developer has excelled at Morgan State University and was awarded the Maryland State Delegate and Senatorial Scholarship.

Heavily influenced by his mother, Christopher describes how she played a critical role in his life, teaching him how to budget and offering a listening ear to his problems during difficult times. Christopher adds that through negative experiences, he has been able to turn them into opportunities for learning.

Christopher lives by the motto: “A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” – David Brinkley

Christopher believes that a college degree is one of the best investments one can make. “Scholarships like this one will alleviate the stress of paying for college, allowing me to better focus on my studies and ambitions.”
