Knowledge Is Power: Step Up For HBCUs

As we enter a new year and celebrate this Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we are navigating some unchartered waters. We’re not sure what the future holds, but if you believe in HBCUs, it’s time to step up.

The Tom Joyner Foundation is ready to meet the changes and challenges that will come. We’re proud to partner with our historically black colleges and universities that graduate bright, inspiring young adults who go on to do great things for our families and communities. You see, education is key. Knowledge is power. And with education and knowledge, we are better prepared for an uncertain future.

Here are 4 ways you can support the TJF and HBCU students:

1. Donate. Your donation can make the difference in students completing their education. Complete the donation form below to give to a deserving student at the college or university of your choice. It’s safe, simple and tax-deductible.
2. Update Your Social Media Profile Picture. Copy and post any of the the #KnowledgeisPower photos at the bottom of this page to your social media platform profile pictures to help spread the word about the TJF and show your solidarity to preparing our students for the future.
3. Share. Know an HBCU alum or young person in need of a scholarship? Follow us on social media @tomjoynerfound (Twitter), @tomjoynerfoundation (Facebook) and _tjfoundation (Instagram); and share our links with friends and family.
4. Stay connected. Sign up for the TJF newsletter to stay up-to-date on upcoming initiatives and news from our HBCU partners.
Thank you for your support,

The Tom Joyner Foundation
