Kian Phillips , Sophomore at University of the District of Columbia Receives $1,500 Scholarship

Student: Kian Phillips

GPA :3.5

Hometown : Washington, D.C

Major/ Class: Business Management / Sophomore

Kian, a Sophomore at University of the District of Columbia was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.

Mr. Phillips is originally from Washington, D.C. and he currently holds a 3.5 GPA at UDC. Once he receives his  degree from UDC, he wants to get into the entertainment industry such as sports and music.

The few people who have influenced his life have been his Mother, twin sister, brother and grandmother.  He says that they have shaped the man who is today.
