Congratulations to Christian Armstrong of Lane College for winning this week’s Hercules Scholarship. The sophomore plans to attend graduate school, obtain his doctoral degree, and use the skills that he has acquired as a physical therapist.

In addition to completing his studies, Christian plays baseball at Lane and has excelled as a presidential scholar. Christian is strongly influenced by his mother, Aquanita, father, Michael and step mom Joi. He also gives credit to all of his coaches, family and Lane faculty who have helped him on his educational journey.

Christian lives by the motto: “Dream as if you’ll live forever; live as if you’ll die tomorrow.”
