Fayetteville State University receives Silver Award from Military Friendly


Fayetteville State University (NC) has been designated a Military Friendly® School “elite” Silver Award winner, a new award established this year. FSU has consistently been designated a Military Friendly® School for the past several years. However, new for 2017, Military Friendly® established awards for colleges to provide a more competitive view of how an institution is performing. Fayetteville State University, a constituent institution of the University of North Carolina system, is known for its support of military-affiliated students by serving large numbers of active duty soldiers, their spouses and families, as well as veterans. FSU offers courses on its main campus, at Fort Bragg Army Base and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina, and its Master of Social Work program at Fort Sam Houston in Texas.
