Congratulations to Langston University’s Darrien Watson and today’s Hercules Scholar. After graduation, Darrien plans to go to graduate school and become a college professor in the field of kinesiology.

Aside from academics, Darrien is active on campus as a volunteer football coach for Coyle, Ok., a member of the Scholar’s Club, Phi Epsilon Kappa, Alpha Chi Honors Society, and the Langston University Association for Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance. Darrien is also a National Conference on Race and Ethnicity scholarship recipient and Future Professional Leadership Conference.

The most influential person is his life is his father, Charles Watson, Sr. and his professor Dr. Desmond Delk.
