Because my major is personal to me, I have a passion for helping disenfranchized individuals such as children of color and those in the armed forces. I would like to be a change agent and ensure that these groups have adequate resources.
I would like to further my studies in the field of social work by obtaining my MSW. My objective is to reach out to minors in low socioeconomic areas so that they have the opportunity to get their family out of poverty just like I will be doing. I want to be an example for them that no matter where your life begins, you can achieve your dreams.

Influential Person or persons in Your Life:
My parents for always ensuring that despite our circumstance we thrived and succeed in life. Ever since I was a kid, could remember I have always been in a rough area growing up. I realized that being in an area so bad made me numb to situations that could have been detrimental to my life. However, with me having such a great parents and a mentor I was able to overcome harsh obstacles that put my life at risk.
