Dayhige,a Sophomore at Winston Salem State University was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.

Mr. Wright is originally from Rocky Mount, South Carolina and currently has a 3.7 GPA. He is majoring in Mass Communication at Winston Salem State University. After earning his degree at  Winston Salem , he wants to pursue his goal of getting his Masters in Divinity from Shaw University. Dayhige is the Pastor of Living Water Baptist Church and the Associate Pastor of New Light Baptist Church in Greensboro,NC . On the campus of Winston Salem he involved with the Renaissance Program at WSSU . He also mentions that the most influential people to his life is his late grandmother and his God- father. Dayhige says that both were vital in his spiritual growth and has helped him reach the goals he has set for his life.
