Jotham Nixon is a junior at Philander Smith College  in Little Rock, Arkansas majoring in general education.

Jotham is a future educator  and later an attorney. He feels  the need to place himself in the classroom so young African American males can see a person who looks like them as the teacher.

This honor student  volunteers at a local youth  center, serves as a peer tutor, is a homecoming intern,  and works  with the Bless the Mic Series.

Jotham’s parents have kept him grounded and are his source of encouragement.
