Brandon, a Senior at the Tuskegee University was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.
Mr. Fennell is originally from Lithonia, Georgia and he currently holds a 3.74 GPA at the Tuskegee University. After earning his degree he plans to purse two masters degrees in the fields of Architecture and Urban Design at the University of Miami. After that Brandon receive’s his master’s degrees he wants to revitalize unprivileged neighborhoods and cites without causing social and economic gentrification within the community.
On the campus of Tuskegee University he is involved in a multitude of organizations such as the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) The National Organization for Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS), New Student Orientation L.A.S.E.R. Leader, Tuskegee University Ambassadors Program, and as of recent The Tuskegee University 2015-2016 Royal Court as the 1st Gentleman to Mr. Tuskegee University.
The few people who have influenced his life have been his mother and two older brothers. His mother showed him hwo to perserver no matter what may be going on in life. She raised 4 African American men as a single mother and he knew her hard work attributes to his success
A motto that I live by is to “Stay Positive” because you never know how you’re a bad situation may turn out if you have a positive outlook on it and your positive energy can influence other to stay positive as well.
