A Role Model to the Youth: Ta’Juan Pledger of UAPB is Today’s Hercules Scholar

Career Goals: To become a music teacher and high school band director

Congratulations to today’s Hercules Scholar, Ta’Juan Pledger of University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. The aspiring music teacher strives to be a role model for youth who, he believes, need credible mentors and people they can look up to as heroes.

In addition to teaching, Ta’Juan plans to obtain an E.M.T. certification and eventually finish his education with a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration.
