Through this special partnership The UN will train 10 regional AKA’s in preparation for them to roll out the United Nations centered educational programming to 900 local chapters.

The regional representatives and local chapters will be trained through model UN simulations and globally focused workshops. The training will equip the local chapters with the tools and resources needed to take the initiative to the surrounding communities to conduct outreach & model UN classroom simulations informing the community about the UN’s missions and goals. The training will also be taught to high school students, giving them hands on experience and preparing them to become UN ambassadors & global citizens. The partnership is slated to last until mid 2016.
