Pharmacy Student at XULA Receives Hercules Scholarship

Hometown : Patterson, Louisiana

Major/ Class: Pharmacy / P3

Chandler, a P3 in Pharmacy School at the Xavier University of Louisiana  was named the Tom Joyner Foundation “Hercules Scholar ” for this week.

Mr. Chandler is originally from Patterson, Louisiana and he currently holds a 3.93 GPA and is in Pharmacy School at the Xavier University of Louisiana. After earning his degree at  XULA , he  plans to take on a residency and specialize in oncology or diabetes as a clinical pharmacist with an adjunct as a professor.

Another one of Chandler’s goals is  to set up a community clinic-pharmacy in my hometown of Patterson, Louisiana as it is lacking health care centers

On campus he is the President, Xavier University Chapter of Student National Pharmaceutical Association, a member of the Delta Eta Chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and the Co-Founder/Community Service Coordinator, Project: E.A.T. Black Male Initiative. He is also a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Beta Tau Chapter.
